About Us

Our Story

Vim 360 is managed by owner, Teresa McIlroy, RPT and Beth Cassody, PTA. Their combined experience, knowledge, and passion for sustainable health and wellness provides a platform for excellent care for the clients. They have recruited highly trained instructors providing safe and effective exercise and wellness guidance. The small class size allows individualized attention and access to high quality exercise equipment.

Vim 360 originated as Strength of Mind and Body in 2012 at the campus of Strength of Mind behavioral health clinic. Dr. Jeff McIlroy and Teresa McIlroy own the clinic and had a dream to incorporate exercise as a medicine and treatment for depression and anxiety along with Pilates, fitness and wellness services. They have developed a comprehensive program for depression including TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), exercise and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the only one in the nation. Strength of Mind was growing so fast that the exercise studio needed to move out to give them room. As a result Strength of Mind and Body moved to the Berkshire Medical Complex just a couple of blocks down the road. Since then they now have moved to double the space. Along with the move they made the decision to change their name due to confusion because of the similarities in the names of the clinic and studio(Strength of Mind and Strength of Mind and Body).

“The gracefulness of pilates combined with the toughness of gym machinery.  Meet the pilates reformer. I have always wanted to learn the reformer and found that the instructors are both awesome & caring teachers.  Classes here are small (max of 6 people), so everyone always gets proper attention needed.  If you want to try a new workout routine, I strongly recommend the pilates reformer!!  It’s a fun way to work out for an hour.”
